Abstract :
Digital transformation is a priority for many companies and is a crucial part of the energy transition. However, its negative impacts on the environment are underestimated and can undermine other efforts to reduce the carbon footprint. Digital can also become a source of exclusion. Understanding, controlling, and reducing the environmental and social impacts of a company's digital services therefore becomes an essential element of its ESR (Enterprise Socially Responsible) strategy. After recalling with some key figures, the impact of IT on the environment, the presentation will provide practical answers and present the basic actions to be implemented.
