Abstract :
The capability to acquire relevant measurements is a key aspect for the monitoring of phenomena of any kind. However, measurements come at a cost. In this seminar we will focus on some recent results on the “smart measurement” for those systems where it is unrealistic “to measure everything at every time” and decisions on “what to measure and when”. Case studies coming from precision agriculture will be shown and discussed.
